New Blog Format

Hey, everyone, I just wanted to mention that Google has changed the blog format.  (I had nothing to do with it!)

I'm not sure if you are being notified as before when I create a new post or when someone makes a comment on the blog.  If you aren't, you may have to find the feature on blogspot which provides that for you.

It was also mentioned to me that some members see the older posts first and have to scroll down to the newest posts.  There is a feature that allows you to choose to see the most recent posts first, so you don't have to scroll down for them.  I haven't played with the new format, so don't know how to specifically direct you to that, but if you are a little tech-savvy, I'm sure you can find it.

If anyone finds where to do either of these actions, please make a comment to help the others!
Thanks!

Barbara

  1. Hey guys, I just played around with Blogger and the only place I can find to alter the order of posts (newest first or oldest first) is in the Blog Archive on the righthand column. But you should be seeing the most recent posts fist on the blog and when you scroll down, the older posts should be appearing. At least, that is how it is with mine.

  2. You should be able to automatically receive notices of new posts and comments on the blog by clicking on "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)" at the end of the posts column and/or "Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom)" at the end of this comments column.

  3. Well, we'll see if this works. I didn't have a subscribe to post or comments on my page, but had a subscribe to email, so I clicked on that.

    1. I agree, Diane. It was really fun to catch up and we were able to hear everyone at the table, which for a group of 9 isn't always easy. Let's hope for some mild, sunny 4PM's so we can Happy Hour outside at PJoe's!
